How We Price

Three Pricing Models, One Principle: Fit the Engagement

We don't publish a generic rate card because no two AI footprints are the same. Instead, every engagement is priced against one of three models, agreed before any work begins.

Fixed-Fee Assessments

Defined scope, defined deliverable. Quick Start and Standard Assessment engagements are quoted as a single fixed fee once we understand the number of AI systems, jurisdictions, and frameworks involved — agreed before work starts, never adjusted mid-engagement.

Programme Pricing

Comprehensive Programmes combine assessment, documentation, policy development, and staff training into one phased engagement. Pricing reflects total scope and duration, broken into milestone payments rather than a single upfront cost.

Monthly Retainers

For ongoing advisory — regulatory monitoring, fractional CAIO leadership, or ICO code readiness — we price as a predictable monthly retainer with a 12-month minimum, so your governance cost is plannable, not project-by-project.

What's Included

What Changes as Engagements Scale

The same factors that move an engagement from Quick Start to Comprehensive also determine its scope of delivery. Here's what's included at each level.

Included Quick Start Standard Assessment Comprehensive Programme
Rapid obligation mapping
Full AI system inventory
Risk classification & gap analysis
Written policy & documentation drafting
Staff training & rollout support
Ongoing regulatory monitoring ✓ (Retainer)
Executive / board-ready report

Why Senior-Only Delivery Changes the Cost Equation

Large firms staff engagements in a pyramid — a partner scopes the work, then juniors execute it, with hours billed at every layer. We don't operate that way. Every Wishory engagement is delivered directly by our senior team, drawing on 20+ years of executive experience across regulated sectors.

That means fewer billable hours are needed to reach the same outcome, because there's no junior learning curve built into your invoice and no account manager translating between you and the person doing the work. It's why our engagements are positioned well below Big 4-style pricing for comparable depth of expertise, even though we don't publish a number to prove it upfront.

Pricing FAQ

Common Questions About How We Price

Why don't you publish exact fees?

Every engagement is scoped to your specific AI footprint, number of jurisdictions, and timeline. A generic published number would either overstate or understate your actual cost. You'll have a clear, written quote within 48 hours of your free call — based on your situation, not a rate card.

Will the price change once the engagement starts?

No. Quick Start and Standard Assessment engagements are fixed-fee once agreed. Comprehensive Programmes are milestone-based but the total is fixed at the outset. Retainers are a flat monthly fee for the duration of the agreement.

How do you decide which tier fits our business?

Tier is driven by scope, not company size: the number of AI systems in use, the number of jurisdictions involved, and whether you need an assessment alone or assessment plus implementation. We confirm this together on the free call.

Are your fees comparable to the Big 4?

No — our senior-only delivery model removes the multi-layered staffing and account management overhead built into large-firm pricing, which is reflected in materially lower fees for comparable depth of expertise.
